This Saturday, in what could be the Filipino superstar’s last fight of his career, Manny Pacquiao, 57-6-2, 38 KOs, squares off with Timothy Bradley, 33-1-1, 13 KOs in for the third time in a rubber match. The fight takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and will be for the vacant WBO international title.

Manny Pacquiao has said that this will be his last fight so he can concentrate on politics but Freddie Roach believes he may fight again. This will be Pacquiao’s first fight since his disappointing but record setting loss against Floyd Mayweather Jr. last May. Roach says that Pacquiao has his ferociousness back because of the motivation of his loss to Mayweather. We have heard this before, and one can only hope that this is actually true.

For Timothy Bradley, this will be his second fight with his new trainer Teddy Atlas. In his previous fight, Bradley looked sensational as he TKO’d Brandon Rios in round 9. Timothy Bradley is an underrated fighter and looks to be fully focused and motivated with Atlas in his corner. If Pacquiao has his killer instinct and Bradley is focused, this will be a fight you don’t want to miss.

Saturday’s fight should be a good one. Both fighters should be motivated and both possess top notch skills. There is not a lot of hype surrounding the fight but it is an intriguing matchup and a close fight; one where the fighter with the greatest hunger and desire to win will determine who wins the rubber match between Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao.
