George Groves will challenge for the world title this summer.
The Hammersmith puncher, 21-2 (16), has twice been on the wrong end of world title challenges against former four-time world champion Carl Froch, will be hoping it’s third time lucky when he challenges for Badou Jack’s WBC super middleweight title.
Groves, 27, will face the American-based Swede — who has a ring record of 19-1-1 with 12 stoppages to his name — in Las Vegas on August 22, with a venue to be confirmed in due course.
