George Groves will return to the ring in the new year.
The Hammersmith super middleweight is set to start his quest for a fourth world title shot when he boxes, live on Sky Sports, in the winter.
Groves is scheduled to headline the Matchroom Boxing and Sauerland Event-promoted show on January 30 at the Copper Box Arena in London.
He lost a split decision to Badou Jack for the WBC title in Las Vegas, on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather’s final fight against Andre Berto in September, but has said that it is “great to be back.
Groves said: “I’m looking forward to boxing in London again.
“This is a chance for me start the New Year on the front foot.
“I want to get as many fights as possible and start building momentum as I look to work my way back into world title contention.’’
Elsewhere on the card, John Wayne Hibbert will defend his Commonwealth super lightweight title against WBA Continental champion Tommy Martin and John Ryder will feature.
Hibbert, who also holds the WBC International title at 140lbs, won the titles in his last fight against Dave Ryan in September, while Martin stopped Michael Devine inside 10 rounds to claim the aforementioned fringe WBA crown.
And Brentwood’s Kris Agyei-Dua defends his Southern Area super welterweight title against unbeaten Chadwell Heath man Ben Hall in an Essex derby.
Meanwhile, Wiltshire’s Kelvin Young faces unbeaten Croydon southpaw Leon McKenzie in an eliminator for the English super middleweight title, plus there’s action for undefeated stars Ohara Davies, Reece Bellotti, Ted Cheeseman, Lucien Reid and Craig Richards.
Details on the full undercard, plus ticket information, will be announced in due course.by
