Tameside’s Adam Hague is relishing his chance to shine once again as he enters his ninth professional contest as one of the main attractions on Kieran Farrell’s show on September 2nd at Bowlers Arena, Manchester.
Hague has had an unblemished professional record thus far, racking up eight wins in his opening eight professional contests and will be looking to make it 9 wins in a row against the tried and tested Lee Connelly. Connelly whom many would argue has somewhat of a deceptive record and always comes to win when on the road will be a good measuring stick for the Matthew Hatton trained Hague. Hague gave his thoughts on his upcoming battle on September 2nd and on his relationship with the former European Champion Hatton.
“I feel that I’ve progressed a lot over the last 18 months training Matthew (Hatton). I’ve come on loads as a fighter and I have learnt a lot about the ways of the professional game. I honestly love training with Matthew. I’m always listening to everything he says because he’s been there and done it at top level. He’s always teaching me new things in the gym.”
Light Welterweight Hague is one of the main attractions on Kieran Farrell’s show at Bowlers Arena and is very thankful to both trainer Hatton and promoter Farrell for having him on what is Farrell’s second event as a promoter; at the venue Farrell himself had his last professional outing, Bowlers Arena.
“It feels good to be topping the bill on Kieran Farrell’s show. All the hard work is paying off and I’m looking forward to the show and showing everyone what I’m all about.”
