Stephen Ormond will return to the ring next month.
The Dublin lightweight, who was disqualified in his last fight against Terry Flanagan earlier this year, will box at the National Stadium, live and exclusive on BoxNation (Sky channel 437/HD 490, Virgin channel 546 and TalkTalk channel 525).
Ormond was added to the bill, which is set for July 4 in his home city, after the withdrawal of Brendan Fitzpatrick.
“I am really pleased to be back boxing in Dublin, the home of boxing,” said Ormond, “and to be on such a fantastic show, it’s going to be a good night.”
Promoter Frank Warren, who is putting on the show in association with MGM Marbella, is happy that the former WBO European champion has been added to a host of stellar names on the card.
He said: “It’s great news that Stephen has agreed to fight.
“He completes the bill perfectly.”
Ormond’s ring return will feature alongside bill-topper Jamie Conlan as he defends his WBO Inter-Continental super flyweight title and Tommy Langford as he challenges for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental middleweight title.
Dublin prospects Anthony Fitzgerald, Declan Geraghty and Steve Collins Jr., the son of the legend, will feature on the bill, while there is an appearance for undefeated Birmingham lightweight Michael Rooney over four rounds.
Meanwhile, Patrick Hyland and Belfast bantamweight Ryan Burnett will see action.
