On Friday the 27th April from the Manchester Arena, Manchester, Ultimate Boxxer will launch following the format of Barry Hearn’s 2008 ‘Prizefighter’ night.
The tournament will consist of three rounds of three minutes to each bout. Meaning there will be some tasty fights as the boxers fight for the illustrious new title of Ultimate Boxxer.
Ultimate Boxxer will look to offer a brake from tradition and offer a new brand for fans to enjoy.
Eight selected unbeaten welterweights from across the UK will put everything on the line. All fights will consist of 3x3min rounds. Four quarter finals, two semi finals and one final. Fighters will be seeded during the promotional cycle.
The winners of each fight will advance to the next round on the night. If the winner cannot continue the loser will advance.
The prize money up for grabs will be an estimated £50k. Which will be staggered accordingly in a double your money competition.
